Not only is the footshape built into this upper, it is breathable, preventing dirt and debris from entering the upper and it is extremely durable. This upper can handle rugged terrain over trails in the rocky mountains while keeping your foot cool and clean during long hot hikes..
- Zip Foam™
A blended EVA and TPU foam that has a blend of softness, bounce and durability. This is what allows the Traverse to be cushioned and responsive over long trail days.. This balance of EVA and TPU means you can rely on the shoe to feel the same at 1 mile to the finish of your long run.
- Topo Athletic Fit
All Topo Athletic shoes are built on a foundation of wide-forefoot, snug midfoot and secure heel. At 7000 Feet Running Company many customers are looking for forefoot space but don’t want a loose heel and Topo meets that requirement.
- FKT Insole
This beaded TPU insole allows for increased transpiration of the moisture off the foot and out of the shoe. Customers had mentioned that previous Topo insoles could become wet on rainy and humid days so they created an insole that would eliminate blistering and moisture containment within the shoe.
- Lightweight Rock Plate
Running from beneath the arch and to the forefoot this TPU rock plate protects the foot the sharp bites of rocks. You will confidnelty Traverse technical terrain with ease without beating your foot into the ground.
